Owen's Wild Game Processing & Taxidermy, LLC

Owen started off processing his family's deer in his home kitchen, he had a dream of opening up his own business and offering his services to the community. Having been a butcher his entire life, and the meat market manager at the local grocery store for more than 30 years he finally decided to open up Owen's Deer Processing in 2006 with the support of his wife Heidi. As the business grew over the years their son Hank and daughter-in-law Dana moved to Ballinger to help out.

If you have been here before, you know that Owen's is family owned and operated. From Owen who works on Taxidermy, to Hank who runs the business now and Heidi and Dana who take care of customers, the entire family has a hand in the business. You have probably even seen his grandson Hunter at some point over the years. He started with working the buttons for the winch at 2 years old and now he joins in wherever he is needed. We have expanded quite a bit over the years, now offering Wild Game Processing and Taxidermy year-round.

Our priority is consumer happiness and providing a great product in a clean atmosphere at a good price.
